I took my first in-hand and riding lesson with Veli in 2025. I’ve always loved classical dressage, and attending his clinic was definitely the right choice. I was really impressed with how he worked with both me and my young mare, especially since we were complete beginners to this style of training. His explanations and instructions were clear, patient, and easy to understand. I would highly recommend him to riders at any level.

Mostly yes, there may be an opportunity to lease one of ours if it is felt to be a fit.

Yes, although there are no hookups, we offer dry camping as there is lots of space to park your RV, horse trailer or tent. There are a few limited rooms available with the host, and RV’s to rent on site, or we can recommend the Days Inn in Athabasca.

There will be a few events that will have a catered option, but coffee and snacks are always complementary. You will be sent a welcome letter prior to every event that you sign up to clearing up what you will need to bring and what is available.

We have an outdoor arena and 24X24 foot outdoor pens. These provide a sturdy and secure place to keep your horse. Pen charges are per horse, per night and you may have up to 2 horses in a pen together if they are known companions. Bring rain sheets, fly sheets, etc weather dependant. Water buckets are provided and we ask you to bring your own feed tubs along with feed. Wheel barrows and manure fork for pen cleaning are provided.

Sadly no, unless it is an event that specifically includes dogs. Our insurance is pretty specific as to what we are able to accommodate.

As long as you can safely handle and control your animal, and have a basic ability to ride your horse, you may come. We develop people at all levels of expertise and everyone is welcome.
