As good trimmers are hard increasingly more difficult to find and we are excited to be hosting a comprehensive trimming course offered by Kristi Leuhr. Whether you are wanting to go do it yourself and pick up the skillset of correct trimming, biomechanically sound hoof care, be able to see what your trimmer is doing, or build some resilience in case you need to on occasion step in and trim your own horses, this comprehensive short course could be for you.
Kristi is the founder of the Okanagan School of Natural Hoof Care in Kelowna, British Columbia. A professional hoof care practitioner and educator, she specializes in barefoot trimming, hoof rehabilitation, and the application of composite glue-on shoes. In this hands-on courses, , Kristi will teach horse owners and professionals how hoof health relates to the biomechanics of the entire horse. Her work focuses on practical, science-based hoof care and helping people develop a deeper understanding of equine soundness and movement.
