  • Quadriga Fundamentals is a platform that aspires to help build positive and supportive communities around the personal development of humans, their dogs, horses and the land upon which they live and depend by looking to nature for guidance. Working in collaboration, in a mutually beneficial manner, we use proven affiliates to offer products and services that align with our mission, along with educational materials and consultation services around subjects such as wellbeing, nutrition, permaculture and regenerative land management, positive styles of horse and dog training and care, along with much more to help guide you to a more joyful and empowered life. We are only defined and limited by our imaginations.

  • Land, horses, dogs and humans Many of us are connected to one another and to land through our love for horses and dogs. Not only does our physical and mental wellbeing rely on healthy land and optimum nutrient cycling, so does that of our beloved companions. Often we are not aware of these connections and see them as “stand alone entities” This is how we have been raised and taught to think.

  • As humans we have had a 5000 year partnership with horses. This is a unique co-evolution as without being useful to humans; horses as we know them would no longer exist as they were headed for extinction. Horses pulled out carts, plowed our fields, toiled in our mines and much more. As horses are no longer a means for survival in the modern western world, we can repay them as we no longer need a dominance based system of management. We now have the opportunity to evolve our horse culture to something more profound, as our survival and development no longer depends on them. The gift that we are now ready to receive from horses is one of deep therapeutic work, be it personal development, therapeutic riding, trauma healing, or simply a pet or a partner in sport. They unite us as a species, and bring us back into connection with land and nature.

  • It is thought that we have had a connection with dogs for over 14000 years. They helped us to hunt, they guarded our camps and villages, worked and guarded out livestock along with being steadfast companions to us humans. Many of us have dogs, some have horses and dogs, So much can be gained by developing a community around dogs, be taking exercise on an evening walk around the neighborhood or forest trail, or building bonds through dog sports such as herding and agility. Having a healthy and mentally balanced dog can be our greatest gift as we reconnect with one another and to the natural world.

  • We must look at land as living systems of which we are all a part, and on which every one of us depends. If land is revered and care for in a way that is guided by, and compliant with nature’s fundamental wisdom and knowledge, we all benefit. We realize cleaner water, air, and nutrition. Reconnecting with land in a purposeful and mindful manner, not only opens us up to see the needs of this intricate and life giving partner, but also this connection extensively helps with our mental wellbeing. We are beginning to realize that we are not separate from or having dominion over nature, rather that we are nature!n our modern world? Where would human civilization be without the horse. The animal that plowed our fields, pulled our cairages, spent their lives in our mines and so much more. This has been a story of symbiosis, a story in which both sides have thrived.
