Nature Connections - nurture body, mind, and spirit through relational forest therapy guided by Sandy Bell
This is a great way of connecting yourself to the living world around you along with grounding in your daily life and before working with horses, dogs and other livestock as nature and forest therapy is a slow-paced immersion into the more-than-human world.
Even if you spend a lot of time in nature already this may offer a deeper perspective. With the forest as the therapist and Sandy as your guide, you’ll experience the benefits of reconnecting with nature, such as improved mood and increased immune function.
Science tells us that natural environments are restorative for stressed out people. Spirit shows us that spending time in the untamed world heals our relationships with nature and ourselves.
You deserve a nature and forest break, so we hope to wander and wonder together.
About Sandy Bell
Sandy is certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and is a member of Nature and Forest Therapy of Canada. After spending most of her life in cities working in health, not-for-profits, and communications, she decided she needed more outside time, so moved to a small hobby farm.
Sandy lives near Gull Lake, Alberta with several horses, a couple of dogs, and a cat. She travels, writes, hikes, and attends to relationships with family, friends, and the natural world around her.
